SHADES OF COMEDY!

Join Us!

Join us for an evening of fun, compassion, and community, and help Tomaro's C.H.A.N.G.E. make a difference in our communities!

Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, our commitment to aid our communities has grown stronger. Last year, we assisted over 200 youths and families, offering vital trauma-informed mental health services through our YES Program, catering especially to those without adequate insurance coverage. The YES Program can only benefit our youth if there are funds available. The end of 2023 marked the end of available funds. We need the help of our community!

The Shades of Comedy fundraising event aims to bolster our YES Program. Your attendance and donations will directly aid our mission and empower our efforts to provide comprehensive healing avenues like therapy, mindfulness, fitness, and mentorship to those who are uninsured and underinsured.

We have an incredible lineup featuring the hilarious Belynda Cleare from Nova Scotia; the seasoned comedic talent of Jream; and Medinah, a young woman with vertigo who brings her unique perspective to the stage.

Additionally, we are taking this opportunity to honor one of our strongest advocates, Representative Larry Lambert. As a lifelong resident and a pillar of community leadership in our 7th District (Claymont) Representative Lambert's unwavering support deserves our heartfelt recognition.

So, mark your calendars and come dressed in your stylish shades of black! Expect an evening of laughter, dancing, a one-hour open bar, hor D'oeurves, raffles, and more.

We eagerly anticipate your participation in this meaningful event. See you there!

LARRY LAMBERT

Larry Lambert, a lifelong resident of our 7th District (Claymont), stands as a beacon of community leadership. Despite personal hardships, losing his parents and older brother at a young age, Larry took on the responsibility of raising his younger sister. His determination led him to become the first Lambert to graduate from college, showcasing an unwavering belief in resilience and perseverance.

Passionate about his community, Larry actively bridges the gap between Delaware's corporate and nonprofit sectors, channeling resources into the 7th District.

Tomaro’s C.H.A.N.G.E. moved its headquarters to Claymont in 2018. Larry's support for our organization was unwavering from the inception. His immediate engagement and commitment to our mission demonstrated not just through words but through tangible actions. His encouragement, resources, and steadfast belief in the organization's cause have been instrumental in transforming it into a beacon of hope for communities across Delaware. In recognition of his invaluable contributions, Larry will be honored on the evening of May 18, 2024.
