Our History
Tomaro's C.H.A.N.G.E. was erected in October 2009. Since its inception, the organization has provided many services to communities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, St. Maarten, and Cameroon. The services have been offered to families with no or low income and included assistance such as helping homeless teen parents get off the streets, fundraisers that allowed families of youth to purchase food, clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies, a fundraiser to assist a young family with the purchase of a vehicle to transport a child with cancer to and from chemo and physical therapy, provided parents with baby formula/food, diapers, and clothing for their infants, donating books to children’s hospitals and collaborating with other nonprofit organizations that assist families in need.
Today, Tomaro's C.H.A.N.G.E. provides behavioral and mental health services to youth and families in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Since November 2018, individual, family, and group services have been provided virtually and in person. Tomaro's C.H.A.N.G.E. continues to grow and assist youth and families reach their goals.
Our Purpose
Tomaro's C.H.A.N.G.E. provides affordable therapeutic services to youth and families who need guidance and/or resources that will assist them in psychological, spiritual, social, and economic growth. We place a great focus on youth, particularly those who are uninsured or underinsured and who would otherwise not receive the assistance and resources needed to help them reach their full potential.
Our Vision
Our vision is to unlock the potential for greatness within every individual. We aim to help individuals and families achieve their definition of excellence, regardless of socioeconomic status. While we serve all ages, we place special emphasis on youth. Our services provide clients with the support, resources, and guidance needed for a healthy transition to mental and emotional well-being, success, and happiness.
