Coming in spring 2027, A to Z brings children together to create, explore, build friendships, and practice skills for everyday life. Through mindfulness, nature, art, cultural learning, and hands-on STEM projects, children have opportunities to discover their strengths and try something new.
We welcome homeschooled children during the spring, and all children ages 5–12 during the summer.
Our program serves New Castle County, Delaware, in community settings. Exact dates, times, locations, and fees will be announced before registration opens.
Learning That Supports the Whole Child
A to Z connects creative and academic enrichment with emotional wellness, cultural identity, and meaningful relationships.
Children practice expressing ideas, understanding emotions, solving problems, and working with others. Activities encourage curiosity and recognize that every child brings their own interests, experiences, and ways of learning.
Our Future-Rooted Transformation Counseling™ (FRTC) framework guides this work through connection, skill-building, practice, and goals for the future. A to Z is a nonclinical enrichment program.
Choose Your Days
Families can select one, two, or all three activity days each week, choosing the combination that fits their child’s interests and family schedule.

Mondays ~ Mindfulness & Emotional Mondays
Pause, express, and discover.
Children explore emotions, calming strategies, and self-expression through creative activities, breathing exercises, gentle movement, and reflection.
Activities encourage children to:
* Recognize and communicate feelings
* Practice coping and focusing skills
* Explore gratitude and encouraging self-talk
* Build confidence in expressing themselves

Wednesdays ~ Nature, Art, & Cutlural Growth
Notice, imagine, and create.
Nature-inspired projects, art, and storytelling invite children to explore the world around them and learn about their own and others’ experiences.
Activities encourage children to:
* Observe nature with curiosity
* Express ideas through art and creative projects
* Explore culture, identity, and storytelling
* Share their creations and appreciate different perspectives

Fridays ~ Idea Factory: Build, Create, & Discover
Imagine possibilities. Try ideas. Work together.
Hands-on STEM and design challenges invite children to become builders, planners, and problem-solvers. Projects may include designing a model community, experimenting with materials, or creating solutions to everyday challenges.
Activities encourage children to:
* Practice creative and critical thinking
* Experiment, adjust, and try again
* Build teamwork and communication skills
* Explore how their ideas can contribute to a community
Shorter Sessions, Fresh Opportunities
Each season is divided into shorter sessions, with scheduled breaks built into the program calendar.
Families register for a session and choose their weekly activity days. Those days stay consistent throughout the session, giving children time to build connections and develop their projects.
Each new session introduces fresh activities within our Monday, Wednesday, and Friday themes. Families can continue into another session or adjust their day selections for the next session, subject to availability.

A Celebration of Their Work
At the end of each session, children receive:
* A portfolio of their work, reflecting the activities they participated in
* A certificate of completion, recognizing their learning and effort
Whether attending one day or all three, children have opportunities to create something meaningful and reflect on what they’ve explored.
Connection Beyond the Activities
A to Z offers opportunities for families to get to know one another and be part of the program community.
Families can look forward to:
* Discounted field-trip opportunities, with costs and participation details shared in advance
* Community gatherings, with dates announced at the start of each season
* Opportunities to share ideas and feedback as the program grows
