Trauma Support Groups

We are now accepting Medicaid, Aetna, AmeriHealth, Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, & United Health. EAP clients also accepted.
If you don't see your insurance listed, contact us, we may be able to assist you.
For those who qualify, we provide other payment options using our sliding scale. Please contact us for information. 
Bounce Back Support Groups are designed to address individuals with managing and coping with past trauma and other issues that interfere with one's daily activities. Male and female groups are held separately and age appropriate (adults 18 and over, youth 10-13 and 14-17). Groups are generally 12-weeks, with an opportunity to sign up as many times necessary for one to reach their goals. The groups are 90 minutes and may be held in our Claymont office or online. Our groups assist those who may be experiencing issues such as difficulties coping with physical/sexual, emotional abuse or neglect, divorce, loss of a loved one, and more. The goal is to assist clients who are seeking a bit of inspiration, encouragement, and the necessary tools to overcome obstacles that may prevent them from reaching their goals. We offer.....
  • Assistance with out of pocket fees associated with eligible youth up to age 23
  • Emotional and psychological support through relationship building
  • Positive peer intervention, group counseling, conferences, and events which will focus on strength building; coping and management skills as they relate to stress and anxiety; child/parent relationship building; educational and employment workshops; and more
  • Resources (i.e. employment, academic, childcare, social services, etc.) to clients when available.
  • Assessment to determine specific needs and/or eligibility; case management for the duration of the relationship
  • Counseling for individuals, youth, and families. Counseling may include private or group sessions
  • Online video sessions for individuals, family, & group counseling
  • Re-education and outreach services to teen moms 19 years of age and under. These services include but are not limited to assisting teen mothers with parenting skills, basic life skills, motivation, stress/depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger management and resources
Our Objectives are to.....
  • Provide appropriate counseling services to individuals, youth, and families
  • Provide access to needed resources that will assist individuals and families in appropriate health services
  • To re-educate individuals and families - develop a success plan which will address strengths, challenges, and goals while addressing the many challenges
  • Provide resources that will aid individuals and families in becoming economically self-resilient
  • Provide life skills training which will enhance an individual’s or family’s ability to function at its best
  • Provide resources to housing-related services
  • Provide parent education which will improve the safety and well-being of their children
  • Provide and encourage parent-child relationships and activities
  • Advocate for family and/or child
  • Collaborate with other organizations/services which will help provide information and referral services that will help ensure individuals and families are receiving any needed services that are not or cannot be offered by Tomaro’s C.H.A.N.G.E.
